Work Description

Victoria House is one of Exeter colleges main campus teaching facilities, the building is set over four floors with over 30 teaching spaces and large communal areas. This project was part of the colleges 2023 summer works project which was carried out over the 6-weeks holiday period of July & August, The Victoria House T level project was a fast-track refurbishment over four floors comprising of new LED lighting throughout, replacement of over 60 new internal door sets, full redecoration and new floors and suspended ceilings.

Project Specific Requirements

As like all summer education projects the deadline was not moveable, with over 30 classrooms within the project being refurbished, the focus for the project was a significant amount of pre-planning and organisation to ensure labour and materials were in place prior to commencement. Door surveying, months in advance was essential with the long lead time for commercial doors.
The project was a success and finished on time, before the new Autumn term began, allowing the College IT team to set up all their new IT systems ready for the new intake.
