Remodelling of a two-story private dwelling.

Work Description -  
The project is a large private home with full care facilities for a disabled person. As a former chapel the existing building was extended by 400m2 of new building spread over two stories, comprising of open plan living, carers suite, 1st floor bedroom suite, assisted bedroom and bathrooms, and private hydro pool along with extensive hard & soft landscaping. 
The construction was part steel frame part traditional build with a timber frame construction to the 1st floor level. A combination of zinc, single ply and slate roofs with a through render system to completed the external envelope. 
The building is equipped with lift to first floor and ceiling hoists throughout the ground floor, passing through oversized pocket doors allowing full disabled access throughout the building including the hydro pool area.

Project specific build requirements -
With the house being off grid regarding foul sewer systems, the house is serviced by a domestic treatment tank and holding chambers, whereby it enters a new 500m off site drainage system through fields and into a stream within the valley below.  
The house has a designated pool hall with a large inground hydro pool and shower area all to a very high specification.
